Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of timing auricular point sticking therapy based on the ebb and flow of midnight and midday combined with Shengyang Yiwei tang for chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG). Methods： A total of 80 cases of CAG patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the order of treatment， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Shengyang Yiwei tang， and the observation group was treated with Shengyang Yiwei tang combined with timing auricular point sticking therapy based on the ebb and flow of midnight and midday. Before and after treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores， endoscopic pathological scores， pepsinogen， immune inflammatory indexes and expressions of miR- 26a and miR- 32 in the two groups were compared. The clinical effects and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated. Results：The total effective rates of Chinese medicine syndromes and endoscopic pathology in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After two and four weeks of treatment， the Chinese medicine syndrome scores， the endoscopic pathological scores， the levels of pepsinogen Ⅰ(PGⅠ)，pepsinogen Ⅱ(PGⅡ)，interleukin-2(IL-2)，interleukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α)， in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜ 0.05)， and the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After two and four weeks of treatment，the miR-26a expressions in the two groups were increased， the miR- 32 expressions were decreased(P＜0.05)， and there being no significant difference being found in the comparison between the two groups(P＞0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞ 0.05). Conclusion： Timing Auricular point sticking therapy based on the ebb and flow of midnight and midday combined with Shengyang Yiwei tang has a definite curative effect in treating CAG， which can effectively reduce levels of pepsinogen，relieve inflammatory responses，and regulate the expressions of miR-26a and miR-32 with high safety.
