Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Zhibai Dihuang tang combined with leuprolide acetate microspheres for idiopathic central precocious puberty in girls and its effect on levels of sex hormones，leptin and adiponectin. Methods：A total of 62 cases of girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the method of random sampling， with 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with leuprolide acetate microspheres，and the study group was treated with Zhibai Dihuang tang combined with leuprolide acetate microspheres. After three-month treatment，the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment， the changes in sex hormones in serum including follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)， luteinizing hormone(LH) and estradiol(E2)，and growth indexes of secondary sex character，as well as the levels of leptin(LP) and adiponectin(ADP) in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 93.54% in the study group and 64.51% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of levels of FSH，LH and E2 between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the levels of FSH，LH and E2 in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of uterine volume，follicular diameter and ovarian volume between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the uterine volume，follicular diameter and ovarian volume in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of levels of LP and ADP in serum between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the LP levels in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the ADP levels were significantly increased(P＜0.05)； the improvement in levels of LP and ADP in the study group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Zhibai Dihuang tang combined with leuprolide acetate microspheres can effectively regulate the levels of sex hormones，leptin and adiponectin in girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty， and improve the growth indexes of secondary sex character with a significant clinical effect.
