Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Zhuqi Lianxue tang combined with routine treatment for patients with qi deficiency syndrome and lochiorrhea after cesarean section. Methods: A total of 200 cases of parturients with qi deficiency syndrome undergoing cesarean section were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, and the treatment group was additionally treated with modified Zhuqi Lianxue tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. The improvement of lochiorrhea, scores of qi deficiency syndrome and clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 100% in the treatment group and 94.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the mean hemostatic time in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05); the hemostasis rate was 98.00% in the treatment group and 90.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of scores of bearing- down sensation of lower abdomen, lassitude of spirit, shortness of breath and no strength to speak, bright pale complexion and other qi deficiency syndromes between the two groups(P>0.05);the above syndrome scores in the two groups after treatment were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and each score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on routine western medicine intervention, modified Zhuqi Lianxue tang for patients with qi deficiency syndrome and lochiorrhea after cesarean section can shorten bleeding time, improve clinical symptoms and enhance clinical effect.
