Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xingpi Yang'er granules combined with Clostridium butyricum powder on dyspepsia-induced diarrhea in children. Methods：A total of 122 cases of children with dyspepsia- induced diarrhea were selected and assigned to the control group and the combination group according to the random number table method，with 61 cases in each group，and one case in the control group was excluded. The control group was treated with Clostridium butyricum powder， and the combination group was additionally treated with Xingpi Yang'er granules on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for three weeks. The clinical effects， clinical symptom remission time， gastrointestinal hormones and immune function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 96.72% in the combination group， higher than that of 86.67% in the control group(P＜0.05). The remission time of abdominal pain and distension，early satiety，anorexia，nausea and vomiting and diarrhea in the combination group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum gastrin(GAS) and plasma motilin(MOT) and diamine oxidase(DAO) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the levels of plasma somatostatin(SS) were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)； the levels of serum GAS and plasma MOT and DAO in the combination group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05)，and the level of plasma SS was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of CD3 +，CD4 + and CD4 +/CD8 + in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels of CD8 + were decreased(P＜0.05)；the levels of CD3 +，CD4 + and CD4 +/CD8 + in the combination group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and the level of CD8 + was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Xingpi Yang'er granules combined with Clostridium butyricum powder for dyspepsia- induced diarrhea in children can effectively relieve their clinical symptoms，regulate gastrointestinal hormones，and improve immune function，with good safety.
