Abstract： This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor ZHANG Pingqing treating postpartum diseases. Professor ZHANG Pingqing believes that the pathological characteristics of postpartum diseases is susceptibility to deficiency and stasis as well as root deficiency and tip excess. Deficiency is the main postpartum symptom. The treatment of postpartum diseases is mainly to harmonize qi and blood and move and resolve stasis， to supplement deficiency and eliminate stasis， and dispel stasis without any damage to the healthy qi. At the same time， the great importance is attached to the pathogenic role of emotion and spleen and stomach. In the course of treatment， soothing the liver and resolving constraint should be combined with fortifying the spleen and harmonizing the stomach to treat postpartum inhibited lactation， postpartum lochiorrhea， postpartum body pain， postpartum depression， etc.， which obtains many good effects.
