Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture therapy combined with rehabilitation training for swallowing disorders in stroke patients based on Chong vessel theory. Methods: A total of 80 cases of patients with swallowing disorders after stroke were selected as the study subjects, and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, and the observation group was treated with acupuncture therapy combined with rehabilitation training based on Chong mai theory. The clinical effects and the incidence of complications in the two groups were compared. Before and after treatment, the changes in scores of standardized swallowing assessment(SSA),Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Study(VFSS) and Swallowing Quality-of-Life questionnaire(SWAL-QOL) in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of clinical effect was 97.50% in the observation group and 82.50% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the SSA scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the scores of VFSS and SWAL-QOL in the two groups were increased(P<0.05);the SSA score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the scores of VFSS and SWAL-QOL were higher(P<0.05). After treatment, the incidence of complications was 20.00% in the control group and 5.00% in the observation group, the difference being significant(P< 0.05). Conclusion:Based on Chong vessel theory, the acupuncture therapy combined with rehabilitation training has a positive effect in patients with swallowing disorders after stroke, which can enhance the clinical effect, effectively improve the swallowing function, and increase quality of life.
