Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xingnaojing Injection combined with Angong Niuhuang Pills on cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: A total of 70 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Xingnaojing Injection, and the observation group was additionally treated with Angong Niuhuang Pills based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one month continuously. The clinical effects, incidence of adverse reactions, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores and oxidative stress indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 94.29% in the observation group, higher than that of 74.29% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of primary symptoms and secondary symptoms as well as the total scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of total antioxidant capacity(TAC) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA) were decreased(P<0.05);the levels of TAC and SOD in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of MDA in the observation group was lower(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.57% in the observation group and 11.43% in the control group, there being no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Xingnaojing Injection combined with Angong Niuhuang Pills can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with cerebral hemorrhage, with ideal effect of anti-oxidative stress and high safety.
