Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets combined with ceftriaxone sodium on chronic cholecystitis. Methods:A total of 120 patients with chronic cholecystitis were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the end number of cases according to odd and even number method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ceftriaxone sodium, and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets orally based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment course of both groups was one month. After treatment,the clinical effects,gallbladder function(gallbladder shrinkage rate and gallbladder wall thickness) and the levels of serum inflammatory factors , including C- reactive protein(CRP) , interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin- 8(IL-8),were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 78.33% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the comparison of gallbladder shrinkage rate and gallbladder wall thickness between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the gallbladder shrinkage rates were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the gallbladder wall thickness was respectively decreased(P<0.05);the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the comparison of the levels of CRP、IL- 6 and IL- 8 between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,the levels of CRP,IL-6 and IL-8 in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets combined with ceftriaxone sodium has a significant therapeutic effect on treating chronic cholecystitis, which can effectively control the inflammatory responses,reduce the thickness of gallbladder wall,and promote the recovery of normal physiological function of gallbladder.
