Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of ear acupuncture combined with body acupuncture for syndrome differentiation and treatment of postoperative gastroparesis syndrome. Methods: A total of 15 cases of patients with postoperative gastroparesis syndrome who met the diagnostic criteria were selected as the research objects. Based on routine treatment of modern medicine, the intervention of ear acupuncture combined with body acupuncture was applied based on syndrome differentiation for treatment. The negative pressure drainage of gastric juice, the symptom scores of gastroparesis syndrome and the recovery time of gastric motility before and after treatment were observed and recorded every day. Results : All the 15 patients recovered gastric motility ; the total time of gastric tube removal was 4- 12 days, with an average of(5.93 ± 1.91) days. Within one week of treatment, the negative pressure drainage of gastric juice was decreased from [1 500(1 000,1 700)] mL/24 h before treatment to [0(0,50)] mL/ 24 h after treatment, differences being significant(P<0.05); the symptom scores of gastroparesis syndrome were decreased from [15(14,17)] points before treatment to[0(0,1)] points, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of ear acupuncture combined with body acupuncture for postoperative gastroparesis syndrome preliminarily shows a good curative effect.
