Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Xuefu Zhuyu Tang combined with Danshen Yin for coronary heart disease of heart blood stasis obstruction type. Methods:A total of 96 cases of patients with coronary heart disease of heart blood stasis obstruction type were selected as the study subjects, and randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with modified Xuefu Zhuyu Tang combined with Danshen Yin based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores and levels of heart function indexes including left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), left ventricular end- diastolic diameter (LVDD) and heart rate(HR) before and after treatment and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of treatment was 95.83% in the treatment group and 83.33% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, TCM syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the heart function indexes including HR,LVDD and LVEF between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of HR and LVDD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),the LVEF levels were increased,and the improvement of the above indexes in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Based on routine western medicine treatment, the application of modified Xuefu Zhuyu Tang combined with Danshen Yin has a significant curative effect in treating coronary heart disease of heart blood stasis obstruction type and can effectively improve heart function and TCM syndromes.
