Abstract： Objective： To observe the application effect of Shangke Jiegu Tablets combined with sodium aescinate on patients with tibial plateau fracture after internal fixation. Methods：A total of 86 cases of patients who received internal fixation for tibial plateau fracture were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 43 cases in each group. After operation，the control group was treated with sodium aescinate Tablets，and the observation group was treated with Shangke Jiegu Tablets combined with sodium aescinate Tablets. Both groups were treated for seven days. The degree of pain，swelling，blood coagulation function，levels of inflammatory factors in serum， and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results： After treatment， Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and swelling values were decreased(P＜0.05)；the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05)，and swelling value was smaller than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，plasma prothrombin(PT) and thrombin time(TT) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and fibrinogen(FIB) levels were decreased(P＜0.05)；PT and TT in the observation group were longer than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and FIB level was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， levels of tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α)， interleukin- 6(IL- 6)， and high- sensitivity Creactive protein(hs- CRP) in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels of TNF-α，IL-6，and hs-CRP in serum in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications was 4.65% in the observation group and 18.60% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Shangke Jiegu Tablets combined with sodium aescinate can effectively relieve postoperative swelling and pain in patients who received internal fixation for tibial plateau fracture，improve coagulation function and inflammatory factors，and reduce postoperative complications.
