Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Wenjing Sanjie Xiaozheng Prescription combined with Mifepristone Tablets on uterine fibroids of congealing cold with blood stasis type. Methods： A total of 75 patients with uterine fibroids were divided into the control group and the observation group according to different treatment methods， with 36 and 39 cases in each group respectively. The control group was treated with Mifepristone Tablets orally， and the observation group was additionally treated with Wenjing Sanjie Xiaozheng Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months continuously. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared between the two groups. Before and after treatment， the changes of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores，tumor volume，uterine volume and levels of sex hormones，including luteinizing hormone(LH)，follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and estradiol(E2)，were compared between the two groups. Results：The total clinical effective rate was 89.74% in the observation group and 69.44% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the TCM syndrome scores of lower abdominal lumps， abnormal menstruation， excessive vaginal discharge， fear of cold and cold limbs，sloppy stool，clear urine in large amount in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above six scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the uterine volumes and tumor volumes in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above two volumes in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the hormone levels of E2，SH and LH in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜ 0.05)，and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜ 0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Wenjing Sanjie Xiaozheng Prescription combined with Mifepristone Tablets can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients，regulate and control the hormone levels，inhibit the growth of tumors，reduce the lesion，and improve the curative effect.
