Abstract:Symptoms are the basic elements of diseases and syndrome types. Different combinations of symptoms lead to different diseases and Chinese medicine syndrome types in clinical practice. The authors systematically discussed the pathogenesis of three common symptoms of allergic rhinitis, namely, clear nasal discharge, nasal itching and sneezing, and nasal congestion. Through the comparative analysis of different pathogenesis of common symptoms of allergic rhinitis,it was found that the common law of external pathogen invasion, viscera and bowels depletion, and fire pathogen harassing the interior reflects the basic pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis. At the same time, the discussion of the differences in the pathogenesis of the three symptoms can deepen the systematic understanding of the pathogenesis, clarify the key pathogenesis, improve the clinical treatment based on syndrome differentiation and the ability to modify medication based on symptom differentiation and make the syndrome differentiation more nuanced.
