Abstract： This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor LIAO Huihui， who is the 4th generation inheritor of Lingnan LUO's gynecology school， in the treatment of incomplete abortion. Professor LIAO holds that static blood obstructing the uterus is the core pathogenesis of incomplete abortion，and its main treatment methods are warming the channels and invigorating blood，and expelling stasis and benefiting the mother， with Tuohua Jian plus Astragali Radix， Aurantii Fructus， Sparganii Rhizoma， Curcumae Rhizoma， Leonuri Herba， raw Typhae Pollen， and Selaginellae Herba. The clinical application of modified Tuohua Jian in the treatment of incomplete abortion emphasizes the importance of “Chinese medicine with reference to western medicine”， follows the treatment principle of “taking Chinese medicine as the dominant treatment with its combination with western medicine”， attaches importance to follow- up to ensure safety，and pays attention to the recovery after the illness to achieve good results.
