Effect of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Armillariella Mellea Powders Oral Solution on Vascular Endothelial Function and Oxidative Stress Levels in Patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris
Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Armillariella Mellea Powders Oral Solution on vascular endothelial function and oxidative stress levels in patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods: A total of 96 cases of patients with unstable angina pectoris were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, and the study group was additionally treated with Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Armillariella Mellea Powders Oral Solution based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were continuously treated for four weeks. The levels of lipid peroxide(P-LPO), malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1),and 6-Keto prostaglandin F1α(6-Keto-PGF1α),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),fibrinogen, plasma viscosity, and hematocrit in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of levels of P- LPO,MDA,and SOD between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of SOD in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of P-LPO and MDA were decreased (P<0.05);the SOD level in the study group was higher(P<0.05),and the levels of P-LPO and MDA were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of NO,ET-1,6-Keto PGF1α and VEGF between the two groups(P> 0.05). After treatment, the levels of ET-1 in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the levels of NO,6-Keto-PGF1α and VEGF were increased(P<0.05);the level of ET-1 in the study group was lower (P<0.05),and the levels of NO,6-Keto-PGF1α and VEGF were higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of hematocrit, fibrinogen, and plasma viscosity between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, hematocrit, fibrinogen and plasma viscosity in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05),and hematocrit, fibrinogen and plasma viscosity in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Ginkgo Leaf Extract and Armillariella Mellea Powders Oral Solution for unstable angina pectoris can improve the levels of oxidative stress and hemorheology indexes of patients, and enhance vascular endothelial function.
