Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of the therapy of ginkgo biloba extract combined with minimally invasive puncture surgery on treating hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and its effect on the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS) and Matrix Metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9). Methods:A total of 80 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with minimally invasive puncture and drainage surgery, and the observation group was additionally treated with ginkgo biloba extract tablets based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed, and the changes of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores, NIHSS score, and levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and MMP- 9 before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of unilateral limb dysfunction,deviated mouth and eyes,numbness of the limbs,aphasia and palpitations in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of NIHSS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP,IL-6 and MMP-9 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above four levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 72.50% in the control group, and 92.50% in the observation group, the difference being significant(P< 0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of ginkgo biloba extract combined with minimally invasive puncture surgery can improve clinical effect on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage,improve neurological function,regulate the levels of serum inflammatory factors,and reduce inflammatory responses.
