Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Lianhua Qingwen Capsules combined with Oseltamivir Phosphate Granules for influenza A(H1N1) with heat toxin invading the lung syndrome. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients with influenza A(H1N1) with heat toxin invading the lung syndrome were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method， with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Oseltamivir Phosphate Granules，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Lianhua Qingwen Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for five days. The disappearance time of main symptoms and signs，the negative conversion rate of virus and the scores of heat toxin invading the lung syndrome were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group and 73.33% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The disappearance time of cough，sore throat and fatigue in the treatment group was significantly shorter than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The negative conversion rate of virus was 93.33% in the treatment group， significantly higher than that of 70.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of heat toxin invading the lung syndrome including cough， chest pain， dyspnea，cyanosis of lips，thirst and polydipsia，and dark urine between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment， the scores of the above traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Based on Oseltamivir Phosphate Granules，the additional application of Lianhua Qingwen Capsules for patients with influenza A(H1N1) with heat toxin invading the lung syndrome can help improve their symptoms and signs， traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and negative conversion rate of influenza virus.
