Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Kangfuxin Liquid combined with western medicine for herpetic stomatitis in children and the occurrence of adverse reactions. Methods： A total of 78 cases of children with herpetic stomatitis were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method，with 39 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine treatment； the control group was additionally treated with Ribavirin Aerosol， and the treatment group was additionally treated with Kangfuxin Liquid based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for seven days as a course. After a course of treatment，the clinical effects，the remission time of symptoms and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate of clinical effect was 97.44% in the treatment group and 84.62% in the control group， the difference being significant (P＜0.05). The healing time of herpes， the disappearance time of pharyngalgia and salivation，the recovery time of diet and the antipyretic time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group，differences being significant (P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.56% in the treatment group and 7.68% in the control group， there being no significant difference between the two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Kangfuxin Liquid combined with western medicine for herpetic stomatitis in children has a good curative effect and can relieve the clinical symptoms of children，with high medication safety.
