Abstract： Based on modern information technology， Virtual Teaching and Research Department promotes innovative teaching and research forms， strengthens teaching and research， co- builds highquality resources and carries out teacher training. It is an important support for promoting high- quality development of higher education. In combination with the characteristics of the core courses of acupuncture， moxibustion and massage，Southern Medical University has explored the construction of the Internet Plus Virtual Teaching and Research Department in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area based on the innovative advantages of integrated Chinese and western medicine of Southern Medical University and the geographical advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Taking Southern Medical University as an example，the authors shared the experience in the construction of Internet Plus Virtual Teaching and Research Department for the core courses of acupuncture，moxibustion and massage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the aspects of overview，feasibility analysis， construction content and construction advantages. By studying these aspects，this paper aims to provide new ideas for the cultivation of acupuncture， moxibustion and massage talents， innovative talents in traditional Chinese medicine and international compound talents， and to better facilitate the talent construction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macro Greater Bay Area.
