Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of point application combined with fingering anal dilation on postoperative constipation of cerebral hemorrhage based on routine invention measures. Methods: A total of 244 cases of constipation of intestinal qi stagnation type after surgery for cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into the control group and the combination group, with 122 cases in each group. The two groups were both given the routine intervention measures for cerebral hemorrhage after surgery and constipation. In addition, the control group was treated with fingering anal dilation, and the combination group was given point application combined with fingering anal dilation. The two groups were treated for 2 weeks. Before and after treatment, the symptom scores of constipation and Patient Assessment of Constipation-Quality of Life (PAC-QOL) in the two groups were determined, the indexes of anorectal dynamics, including anorectal maximal squeeze pressure (MSP) and anorectal resting pressure (ARP) were detected, and the clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the total clinical effective rate was 93.33% in the combination group, higher than that of 82.50% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). The scores of the mean time between defecation, defecation time, defecation traits, difficulty in defecation and defecation desire in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the scores of the five items above in the combination group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The MSP and ARP in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the two indexes above in the combination group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the scores of physiology, social psychology, anxiousness and satisfaction degree of PAC-QOL in the two groups were decreased (P<0.05),and the scores of the four items above in the combination group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the routine intervention measures, point application combined with fingering anal dilation for postoperative constipation of cerebral hemorrhage can well increase the contractility of anal sphincter, mitigate the constipation, and improve the quality of life.
