Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Shenqi Fuzheng Injection on symptom and immune function of patients undergoing chemotherapy after surgery for cervical cancer. Methods : A total of 88 cases of patients receiving surgery for cervical cancer were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with routine chemotherapy after surgery, and the treatment group was treated with Shenqi Fuzheng Injection during chemotherapy. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores and immune function indexes before and after treatment as well as clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate of clinical effect was 84.09% in the treatment group, higher than that of 65.91% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of helper T cell (Th) and Th/suppressor T cell (Ts) values in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of Th and Th/Ts value in the control group were significantly lower than those in the treatment group (P<0.05); the levels of Ts in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the levels of Ts in the control group was significantly higher than that in the treatment group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 25.00% in the treatment group, lower than that of 45.45% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Shenqi Fuzheng Injection for patients undergoing chemotherapy after surgery for cervical cancer can improve their clinical symptoms, enhance immune function and reduce adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy.
