Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method combined with tuina for cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type (CSA) and its effect on vascular endothelial function and hemorheology. Methods:A total of 105 cases of CSA patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method , with 52 and 53 cases in each group respectively. The control group was treated with tuina, and the observation group was additionally treated with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method based on the treatment of the control group. Cerebral blood flow parameters, hemorheology indexes, vascular endothelial function and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment; the clinical effects and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated. Results:After treatment, the effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the mean blood velocity of basilar artery (BA),right vertebral artery (RVA) and left vertebral artery (LVA) and the nitric oxide (NO) in the two groups were higher than those before treatment (P<0.05); hematocrit, whole blood low- shear viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, whole blood high- shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, endothelin (ET) and TCM syndrome scores were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), the cerebral blood flow parameters and NO in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the indexes of hemorheology indexes,ET and TCM symptom scores were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). No obvious adverse reaction was observed in the two groups. Conclusion: Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture method combined with tuina for CSA can effectively improve cerebral blood flow parameters and hemorheology indexes and protect vascular endothelial function, with a significant curative effect and high safety.
