Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Prof. YU Tugen in treating acne conglobata. Prof. YU believes that acne conglobata is the outcome of acne vulgaris，and due to chronic failed treatment and improper treatment， the pathogenic factors retain and do not transform， resulting in chronic persistence of the disease. The blood stasis and phlegm coagulation type is the most common one in terms of syndrome differentiation of the disease，and therefore，the basic therapeutic principles are clearing heat and dissipating masses，invigorating blood and nourishing blood，and also supplementing deficiency. Prof. YU founded YU's Xiaozuo Prescription with Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma as the chief medicine and with the methods of invigorating blood， clearing heat and nourishing blood. He combines Chinese and western medicine and adopts treatment with both attack and supplementation， that is， YU's Xiaozuo Prescription and the oral administration of Doxycycline Hydrochloride，to treat the disease.
