Clinical Study on Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tongluo Prescription Combined with Naloxone for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Complicated with Pulmonary Encephalopathy
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tongluo Prescription combined with Naloxone for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) complicated with pulmonary encephalopathy. Methods: A total of 78 cases of patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary encephalopathy were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine antiinfection and Naloxone, and the observation group was additionally treated with Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tongluo Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. The arterial blood gas indexes, and the levels of tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF-α) and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in serum were compared before and after treatment between the two groups, and the clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2), arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2) and arterial blood pH values between the two groups (P>0.05). After 3 days of treatment, the arterial PaO2 and arterial blood pH values in the two groups were increased (P<0.05), and PaCO2 was decreased (P<0.05);the arterial PaO2 and pH value in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),and PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of TNF- α and hs- CRP in serum between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF- α and hs- CRP in serum in the two groups were decreased (P<0.05),and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate was 89.74% in the observation group, higher than that of 71.79% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Yiqi Huoxue Huatan Tongluo Prescription combined with Naloxone for COPD complicated with pulmonary encephalopathy can effectively improve pulmonary ventilation function of patients, inhibit inflammatory responses and enhance clinical effects.
