Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Liqi Tongbian Prescription combined with Oral Solution for chronic transmission constipation in children. Methods: A total of 96 cases of children with chronic transmission constipation were selected as the study subjects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Lactulose Oral Solution, and the observation group was additionally treated with Liqi Tongbian Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups. Before and after treatment, the levels of substance P (SP),nitric oxide (NO), and somatostatin (SS) in serum, and the clinical symptom scores were compared between the two groups. The incidence of adverse reactions were counted in the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 100% in the observation group, higher than that of 87.50% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the SP levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment, and the levels of NO and SS were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05);the SP level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the levels of NO and SS were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, each clinical symptom score in the two groups was lower than that before treatment (P<0.05), and each clinical symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 4.16% in the observation group, lower than that of 20.83% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:Liqi Tongbian Prescription combined with Lactulose Oral Solution can improve the clinical effect, the level of substance P in serum, and clinical symptoms, promote the recovery of intestinal motility, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment of chronic transmission constipation in children.
