Abstract： Objective： To study the correlation between urticaria and Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM ) constitution types by Meta-analysis. Methods：The literature on the correlation between urticaria and TCM constitution types were searched from CNKI， China Medical Full- text Database， Wanfang，VIP，Pubmed and Embase databses from the establishment day of the database to May 2022. The literature were screened，their data were extracted and the quality was evaluated by two researchers according to inclusion and exclusion criteria respectively. The data of the included literature were analyzed. Results：A total of 12 cross-sectional studies were included，with a total sample size of 2 483. The results of Meta- analysis showed that qi- deficiency constitution (17% )， inherited special constitution (12% )， damp-heat constitution (11%) were the types of urticaria patients with a distribution ratio of more than 10% (P＜0.01). The main TCM constitution types of urticaria patients in southwest China were inherited special constitution (21% )， qi- deficiency constitution (15% )， damp- heat constitution (11% ) and qi- constraint constitution (11%). The main TCM constitution types of urticaria patients in south China were damp- heat constitution (18% )， inherited special constitution (13% ) and qi- deficiency constitution (12% ). The main TCM constitution types of urticaria patients in central China were phlegm- damp constitution (34% )， qideficiency constitution (33% )， batanced constitution (12% ) and yang- deficiency constitution (10% ). Conclusion：Qi-deficiency constitution，in herited special constitution and damp-heat constitution are the main constitution types of urticaria patients. The TCM constitution types of urticaria patients are different in different regions.
