Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Xiaozheng Huoxue Yishen Prescription combined with Ethinyl Estradiol Cyproterone Tablets for infertility due to polycystic ovary syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type and its effect on sex hormones and hemorrheology. Methods：A total of 124 cases of patients with infertility due to polycystic ovary syndrome were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method，with 62 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Ethinyl Estradiol Cyproterone Tablets， and the treatment group was additionally treated with Xiaozheng Huoxue Yishen Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment， the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores， sex hormones in serum， and hemorrheology indexes were compared between the two groups. The clinical effects， ovulation rates， pregnancy rates， and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate， ovulation rate and pregnancy rate in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the TCM syndrome scores and the levels of whole blood low shear viscosity， whole blood high shear viscosity， and plasma viscosity in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the TCM syndrome scores and hemorrheology indexes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜ 0.05). After treatment， the levels of testosterone (T)， follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)， luteinizing hormone (LH)，and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEAS) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the levels of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) were increased (P＜0.05)；the levels of T，FSH，LH，and DHEAS in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05)， and the SHBG level was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion： Xiaozheng Huoxue Yishen Prescription combined with Ethinyl Estradiol Cyproterone Tablets has a definite curative effect in treating infertility due to polycystic ovary syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type. It can effectively enhance the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of patients，regulate the level of sexual hormones in patients，improve the abnormal state of hemorheology，and has high safety.
