Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of catgut embedment through point combined with Yupingfeng Granules for allergic rhinitis in children. Methods： A total of 90 cases of patients with allergic rhinitis in Children were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Yupingfeng Granules，and the observation group was additionally treated with catgut embedment through point based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment，symptom scores，and immune indexes of CD3 + ， CD4 + ， CD8 + and CD4 +/CD8 + were compared between the two groups. Before treatment and during follow-up，the scores of rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire were compared between the two groups. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions were evaluated between the two groups. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 82.22% in the control group and 95.56% in the observation group， the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After treatment， the symptom scores of nasal obstruction，nasal itching，sneezing，runny nose，eye itching，and weeping in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the above symptom scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of CD3+，CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and CD8+ levels were decreased (P＜0.05)；the levels of CD3+，CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，and the CD8 + level was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). During follow- up， the scores of rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire in the two groups were lower than those before treatment， and the score of rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). There was no significant adverse reaction in the two groups. Conclusion： Catgut embedment through point combined with Yupingfeng Granules has a definite curative effect in treating allergic rhinitis in children， which can effectively improve symptoms， immune function， and quality of life，with high safety.
