Abstract:This paper summarizes and analyzes the application rule of Zhangmen point (LV13) in ZZhen Jiu Da Cheng (the Great Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion). By sorting out the relevant records about Zhangmen point in the Great Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and combining with relevant books and literature of Chinese medicine,supplemented by evidence,this paper summarizes the location,point nature,method of acupuncture and moxibustion,compatibility rule,clinical application and contraindications of Zhangmen point. It is analyzed that Zhangmen point belongs to the foot jueyin liver channel,which is the intersecting point,alarm point of the spleen and confluence point of zang organs. In clinical practice,both acupuncture and moxibustion are mainly used,and the acupuncture depth and moxibustion amount should be determined according to syndrome differentiation and three considerations of time,person and place. The compatibility mainly includes multiple points,in combination with Zusanli point (ST36), Qimen point (LV14) and Zhangmen point (RN12), to treat diseases of the spleen, stomach, liver and gallbladder.
