Abstract:Objective:To observe the protective effect of modified Jinsuo Gujing Pills on diabetic kidney disease rats. Methods: Diabetic kidney disease rats were randomly divided into the conventional dose group of Chinese medicine, the double dose group of Chinese medicine, the Rapamycin group, and the model control group, and a normal control group was set up. After 12 weeks of modeling and administration, observe the general situation of rats in each group, detect fasting blood glucose (FBG), blood urea nitrogen (BUN),blood creatinine (SCr),total cholesterol (TC),24-hour urinary albumin (24 hUAlb),and serum albumin (Alb) levels, and observe the pathological changes of renal tissue in each group under light and electron microscopy using Periodic Acid- Schiff (PAS) staining. Results: In terms of biochemical indicators, compared with the Rapamycin group, the TC,SCr,BUN,and 24 hUAlb levels in the double dose group of Chinese medicine were significantly reduced (P<0.05),while the Alb,FBG, SCr,BUN,and 24 hUAlb levels in the conventional dose group of Chinese medicine showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Compared with the conventional dose group of Chinese medicine, the SCr,BUN, and 24 hUAlb of the double dose group of Chinese medicine decreased significantly (P<0.05). Pathologically, compared with the Rapamycin group, the Chinese medicine group could significantly inhibit the proliferation of the mesangial region of diabetic kidney disease rats (P<0.05), and the Chinese medicine double dose group could significantly inhibit the glomerular hypertrophy (P<0.05). Compared with the conventional dose group of Chinese medicine, the double dose group of Chinese medicine was more effective in inhibiting glomerular hypertrophy (P<0.05). Conclusion:The modified Jinsuo Gujing Pills can improve renal function and repair pathological damage in diabetic kidney disease rats, and has a certain dose-dependent effect.
