Abstract：Objective：To explore the medication rules of Chinese medicine in treating radiation-induced lung injury (RILI) based on data mining. Methods：The clinical literature on RILI treated by Chinese medicine were retrieved from Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)， Chinese Citation Database， Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform， China Biology Medicine (CBM) and PubMed from January 1989 to December 2021. The prescription database was established， and the data mining was carried out by the methods of frequency analysis ， association rules and cluster analysis. Results ： A total of 248 prescriptions were included，involving 233 kinds of Chinese herbs. The common clinical syndrome types are syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin，intense heat toxin syndrome and syndrome of phlegm blended with stasis. The most frequently used Chinese herbs were Ophiopogonis Radix，Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， Rehmanniae Radix and Armeniacae Semen Amarum. The main therapeutic herbs are for supplementing qi，supplementing yin and clearing heat. The main channels enter into lung，liver，stomach channel，and the main flavors are bitter，sweet and acrid，and the natures are mainly cold. Association rule analysis showed that the commonly used herbal combinations were Ophiopogonis Radix-Rehmanniae Radix，Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma-Armeniacae Semen Amarum，Ophiopogonis Radix-Glehniae Radix， Codonopsis Radix-Macrocephalae Atractylodis ， Scrophulariae Radix-Rehmanniae Radix-Ophiopogonis Radix，Ophiopogonis Radix-Platycodonis Radix-Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma. Cluster analysis showed that the core prescriptions were Platycodonis Radix-Lilii Bulbus-Rehmanniae Radix-Radix Scrophulariae Paeoniae Radix Alba-Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus-Moutan Cortex， Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma- Paeoniae Radix Rubra-Angelicae Sinensis Radix-Chuanxiong Rhizoma-Persicae Semen-Trichosanthis Fructus ， Codonopsis Radix-Macrocephalae Atractylodis Rhizoma-Poria-Astragali Radix. Conclusion：In the treatment of RILI by Chinese medicine，the main treatment principles are boosting qi and nourishing yin，clearing heat and resolving toxins，and invigorating blood and dissolving stasis，and the emphasis is on protecting yin and reinforcing healthy qi. Shenling Baizhu Powder， Shashen Maidong Decoction and other prescriptions are often modified in clinical treatment.
