Abstract： This article mainly introduces the experience of Professor WEI Chenggong in treating pulmonary nodules with individualized ointment. Professor WEI believed that the pathogenesis of pulmonary nodules can be divided into phlegm pathogen obstructing the lung， stasis and stagnation in the lung， pathogen gathering in the lung，deficiency of lung qi and healthy qi，and liver depression，most of which are characterized by the deficiency- excess complex. Thus， the treatment emphasizes both attack and supplementation，as well as dispelling pathogen and reinforcing healthy qi.
