Abstract：The only copy extant of You Ke Jin Zhen has two volumes and 96 parts in total. The book fully and accurately discusses 96 types of common diseases in pediatrics and 149 formulas， featuring rich content，order by parts，matches of poetries，refined prescriptions and medicines，precise syndrome differentiation， rigorous elaboration， easily understood argumentation， utility and effectiveness， and wide popularity. QIN Changyu posed and summarized his insightful view of clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of diseases in pediatrics，highlighting the genre of poetries；he summed up five kinds of infantile malnutrition and their treatment based on five zang- organs； he elaborated the complicated symptoms of convulsive epilepsy with focus on the harmonization of zang-fu organs； he made clear the deficiency and excess of zang-fu organs， attaching great importance to fortifying the spleen and harmonizing the stomach；he was good at treating five limpnesses and five stiffnesses and paid much attention to giving treatment according to objective conditions；he had a good understanding of surgical diseases and a flexible approach to modify prescriptions and medicines，thus providing valuable experience in clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of diseases in pediatrics.
