Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jianpi Huatan Prescription combined with cognitive training for mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease and its effects on activities of daily life. Methods: A total of 74 cases of patients with mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation training and cognitive training, and the observation group was additionally treated with Jianpi Huatan Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the scores of Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS),Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and Barthel Index for Activities of Daily Living were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 94.59% in the observation group, higher than that of 75.68% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of excessive phlegm and drooling, torpid intake and abdominal distension, heaviness and weakness of limbs, dizziness and tinnitus in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of UPDRS- Ⅰ, UPDRS- Ⅱ , and UPDRS- Ⅲ in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of MMSE,MoCA,and Barthel Index in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Jianpi Huatan Prescription combined with cognitive training has a significant curative effect in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease, which can delay the progression of Parkinson's disease, improve the clinical symptoms and intelligence of patients, enhance cognitive function and activities of daily living, and has high safety.
