Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Xingnaojing Injection combined with routine treatment on neurological function and prognosis in patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods: A total of 94 cases of patients with severe craniocerebral injury were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Monosialotetrahexosylganglioside Sodium Injection and routine treatment, and the study group was additionally treated with Xingnaojing Injection based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The recovery time and total clinical effective rates after treatment,as well as the scores of the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) and prognosis in mortality after treatment for 2 months were compared between the treatment. The scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), as well as the levels of tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α), C- reactive protein (CRP), interleukin- 2 (IL- 2), and interleukin- 6 (IL- 6) in serum were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate was 85.11% in the study group, higher than that of 65.96% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores in the two groups were decreased (P<0.05),and the GCS scores were increased (P<0.05);the NIHSS score in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and GCS score in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of TNF- α,CRP,IL-2,and IL-6 in serum in the two groups were decreased (P<0.05),and the above levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,GOS score in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of recovery time and the rates of prognosis in mortality between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:For patients with severe craniocerebral injury, Xingnaojing Injection combined with routine treatment can enhance total clinical effective rates, improve neurological function, prognosis in recovery, and inhibit inflammatory reactions in the body.
