Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of the therapy of Ziyin Xiehuo Prescription combined with Leuprorelin Acetate Microspheres on levels of sex hormones and secondary sex character in girls with precocious puberty. Methods：A total of 104 girls with precocious puberty were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 52 cases in each group. The two groups were treated with Leuprorelin Acetate Microspheres，and the observation group was additionally given Ziyin Xiehuo Prescription based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were observed；the changes of levels of serum luteinizing hormone (LH)，estradiol (E2)，follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)，insulin- like growth factor binding proteins 3 (IGFBP- 3)，procollagen 1 N- terminal propeptide (P1NP) and N- MID osteocalcin (N- MID- OT) and secondary sex character were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results：The total clinical effective rate was 96.15% in the observation group，and 80.77% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of LH，E2 and FSH in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the uterine volume，ovarian volume and follicular diameter in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the levels of the above three indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum N- MID- OT， IGFBP-3 and P1NP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜ 0.05)，and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜ 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 11.54% in the observation group and 9.62% in the control group， there being no significance in the difference (P＞0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Ziyin Xiehuo Prescription combined with Leuprorelin Acetate Microspheres has a definite curative effect on girls with precocious puberty，which can effectively inhibit the levels of sex hormones and activity of osteoblast，and postpone the occurrence of secondary sex character with good safety.
