Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Xiao'er Chaigui Tuire Granules combined with tuina on acute bronchitis with fever. Methods:A total of 98 cases with acute bronchitis with fever were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The two groups were given conventional treatment; the control group was additionally treated with tuina, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Xiao'er Chaigui Tuire Granules and tuina. The clinical effects in the two groups and the onset time of fever reduction,the time of complete fever reduction,the time of cough cessation and the disappearance time of lung rales were compared. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, inflammatory factors, T lymphoid subsets and immunoglobulin levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 95.92% in the treatment group,higher than that of 79.59% in the control group (P<0.05). The onset time of fever reduction, the time of complete fever reduction, the time of cough cessation and the disappearance time of lung rales in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores and levels of serum procalcitonin (PCT), interleukin- 6 (IL- 6), immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those in the control group (P<0.05),and the CD3+ and CD4+ levels were increased (P<0.05). After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores and levels of serum inflammatory factors and immunoglobulin in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ were higher than those in the control group (P< 0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Xiao'er Chaigui Tuire Granules combined with tuina has a significant clinical effect on acute bronchitis with fever,which can effectively improve clinical symptoms such as fever and cough,reduce inflammatory responses,and improve immune function.
