Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of muscular fascia release technology combined with acupuncture for lower limb disorders in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods: A total of 90 cases of patients with hemiplegia after stroke were randomly divided into the observation group, the control group 1 and the control group 2, with 30 cases in each group. All the three groups received secondary prevention measures and basic rehabilitation treatment. The observation group additionally received muscular fascia release technology and acupuncture on lower limbs, the control group 1 received acupuncture treatment, and the control group 2 received fascia release technology on lower limbs. All the three groups were treated for 2 weeks, with 6 days of treatment per week. Before treatment and after two- week treatment, timed up and go test(TUG), comfortable walking speed and fast walking speed test, and 6-minute walking test were detected, and the score of the Modified Barthel Index (MBI) were evaluated. Results:After treatment, the completion time of TUG in all the three groups were shortened when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The completion time in the observation group was better than those in the other two groups (P<0.05); there was no significant difference being found between control group 1 and the control group 2 (P>0.05). The comfortable walking speed and fast walking speed in the three groups were all improved when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05);the comfortable walking speed and fast walking speed in the observation group were faster than those in the other two groups (P<0.05); there were no significant differences between the control group 1 and the control group 2 (P>0.05). The 6- minute walking distance in all the three groups were increased when compared with that before treatment (P<0.05). The 6-minute alking distance in the observation group was longer than those in the other two groups (P<0.05); there was no significant difference being found between the control group 1 and the control group 2 (P>0.05). The MBI scores in all the three groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05);there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of MBI scores among the three groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:The muscular fascia release technology combined with acupuncture can improve the walking speed, endurance and balance function of patients, but it does not show obvious advantages in improving the ability of daily life.
