Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Yangxue Qingnao Pills combined with Clopidogrel for transient ischemic attack (TIA) in the senile. Methods:A total of 100 senile TIA patients were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Clopidogrel anticoagulation therapy, and the observation group was treated with Yangxue Qingnao Pills on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The levels of hemorheological indicators (whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, and fibrinogen) , as well as clinical effects, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 98.00% in the observation group, and 82.00% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the scores of TCM syndromes such as dizziness, headache, insomnia, blurred vision, and irritability between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of the above syndromes in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, and fibrinogen levels between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the above hemorheological indicators in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 22.00% in the observation group, and 10.00% in the control group, there being no significance in the difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Yangxue Qingnao Pills and Clopidogrel has a significant curative effect on senile TIA, which can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, improve hemorheological status, and has good safety.
