Abstract：Wuzhi Decoction from Wen Bing Tiao Bian (Systematic Differentiation of Warm Diseases) is a classic formula in which medicine and food are from the same source. It is widely used in the clinical treatment of externally-contracted diseases ， thirst ， digestive system diseases ， respiratory system diseases and infectious diseases. Modern studies have found that Wuzhi Decoction has pharmacological effects such as antioxidant free radicals，liver protection，anti- inflammation，heat- relieving and cooling. The authors systematically summarized the clinical application and therapeutic mechanism of Wuzhi Decoction in order to provide more references for clinical application of it.
