Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of sitz bath with Qufeng Chuyang Decoction on subacute perianal eczema. Methods：A total of 102 patients with subacute perianal eczema were divided into the treatment group and the control group by random number table method ， with 51 cases in each group. The treatment group was given sitz bath with Qufeng Chuyang Decoction，and the control group was sitz bath with potassium permanganate. The clinical effects and the scores of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes， itch degree， Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 92.16% in the treatment group， higher than that of 82.35% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of TCM syndromes，itch degree，EASI and DLQI in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above indexes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of sitz bath with Qufeng Chuyang Decoction has a definite therapeutic effect on subacute perianal eczema，which can improve the clinical symptoms and the quality of life.
