Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Jiejing Jiupian Needling combined with static balance apparatus for hemiplegia after stroke. Methods：A total of 104 cases of patients with hemiplegia after stroke were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 52 cases in each group. The control group received static balance apparatus training and treatment， and the observation group received Jiejing Jiupian Needling based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The clinical effects，gait parameters，as well as the scores of Mini-Balance Evaluation Systems Test (mini-BESTest)，Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and Ashworth grading were compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 94.23% in the observation group， higher than that of 80.77% in the control group (P＜0.05). The gait speed，stride frequency，and stride length in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the improvement in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group (P＜0.05). The scores of mini-BESTest and BBS in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the scores of mini-BESTest and BBS in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). The Ashworth grading scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the Ashworth grading score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Jiejing Jiupian Needling combined with static balance apparatus can effectively improve the balance function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke，alleviate spasticity，and improve gait.
