There were 2 cases in the treatment group and 1 case in the control gruop were excluded, and finally 28 cases and 29 cases were included respectively. The treatment group was treated with Lingnan CHEN's Acupuncture Technique, and the control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules. Both groups were treated for 17 days. The clinical effects and the scores of Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire (NPQ), Simplified McGill Pain Scale and neck mobility were compared between the two groups. The clinical effect in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). The scores of NPQ,Simplified McGill Pain Scale, and neck mobility in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the decrease of scores of NPQ,Simplified McGill Pain Scale, and neck mobility in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05).
