Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor HUANG Yaozhou in the treatment of itchy dermatitis. Professor HUANG believes that the pathogenesis of itchy dermatitis is the disorder of the heart spirit. He creates a method of tranquilizing the heart and calming the mind based on the Chinese medicine theory of “all pains，itch，and sores are ascribed to the heart”，and uses modified Longmu Decoction to treat itchy dermatitis and related diseases such as chronic urticaria，psoriasis，palmoplantar pustulosis， atopic dermatitis， chronic simplex lichen， etc.， forming his unique theory， method， prescription，medication，and usage. Good clinical effects can be achieved with the combination of the treatment and the regulation of daily living and diet.
