Abstract：This paper introduces Professor FENG Chonglian's clinical experience in using the method of "harmonizing shaoyang to transport pivot movement" to treat novel coronavirus. Professor FENG Chonglian believes that the novel coronavirus infection has complex clinical manifestations of cold and heat in complexity，and concurrent occurrence of the exterior and the interior，whose pathogenesis is complex， and it belongs to triple- yang combination of diseases. Therefore，the treatment should follow the idea of "treating triple- yang combination of diseases from shaoyang"， and use the representative formulas of harmonizing shaoyang gallbladder and of harmonizing shaoyang triple energizers， namely Xiaochaihu Decoction and Wendan Decoction，as basis formulas to modify，which aims to transport pivot movement. In the treatment，cold and warm medicinals are used together to make the nature and flavor of the formulas neutral. There is no acrid- warm medicinals like Zingiberis Rhizoma and Cinnamomi Ramulus to promote heat，and there is no sweet-warm medicinals like Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma and Astragali Radix to breed pathogenic factors. Thus， this method is in line with the pathogenesis of most patients with mild and medium novel coronavirus infection，so it can be effective.
