Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of yin- yang balance penetrating needling method on stroke complicated with hemiplegia. Methods: A total of 106 patients with stroke complicated with hemiplegia were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 53 cases in each group. The two groups were given routine treatment, the control group was additionally given rehabilitation training and Tongluo prescription for treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated with yin-yang balance penetrating needling method based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated, and the limb function, gait parameters and neurological impairment were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate was 92.45% in the observation group, higher than that of 77.36% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) scale,Holden Functional Ambulation Category (HFAC) scale and Berg Balance Scale (BBS) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the pace, stride and leg speed in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and pace, stride and leg speed in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of China Stroke Scale (CSS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The yin- yang balance penetrating needling method can improve the limb function of patients with stroke complicated with hemiplegia, regulate the gait parameters and the neurological impairment with a good clinical effect.
