Abstract： This paper explores and analyzes the application of the method of enlivening spleen with aroma by Xujiang physicians and believes that Xujiang physicians have a unique understanding of the application. Xujiang physicians attach great importance to the spleen and stomach， using aromatic medicinals to remove dampness and turbidity，rectify qi to loosen the center，and unblock qi movement， and expanding the application scope of the method of enlivening spleen with aroma without limiting it to the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases. In clinical practice， other Chinese medicinals can be added according to different symptoms to dispel pathogen and reinforce healthy qi；unique medicinal processing methods are adopted and multiple preparation is used in combination；simultaneous use of medicine and food in therapy is for personalized treatment of diseases.
