Effect of Jinshuibao Capsules Assisting High Throughput Dialysis for Renal Function and Micro-Inflammatory Status in Patients with End-Stage Renal Disease
Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Jinshuibao Capsules assisting high throughput dialysis on renal function and micro-inflammatory status in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Methods: A total of 126 cases of ESRD patients were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 63 cases in each group. The control group was treated with high throughput dialysis, and the observation group was additionally treated with Jinshuibao Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment in the two groups were lasted for 2 months. Changes in renal function [urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (SCr), 24-hour urine protein quantification (24-hour Upro), and β2- microglobulin (β2 - MG)], micro-inflammatory markers [interleukin (IL) - 6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor - α (TNF - α), and oxidative stress response indicators [superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX),and malondialdehyde (MDA)] before and after treatment,as well as clinical effects, were compared between the two groups. The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was counted. Results:The total effective rate was 96.83% in the observation group and 87.30% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of SCr, BUN, 24 h Upro, and β2-MG in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the four renal function indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P< 0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, TNF - α, and IL-8 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the three micro-inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of SOD and GSH - PX in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of MDA were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05);the levels of SOD and GSH-PX in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),and MDA level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Jinshuibao Capsules assisting high throughput dialysis in the treatment of ESRD can enhance clinical effects, alleviate inflammatory and oxidative stress reactions, effectively protect patients' renal function, and have high medication safety.
