Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of therapy of Jiedu Lianchuang Ointment combined with infrared irradiation on burn wound repair and infection. Methods：A total of 98 cases of burned patients were selected as study objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method，with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with infrared irradiation， and the observation group was treated with Jiedu Lianchuang Ointment combined with infrared irradiation. The levels of inflammatory factors，including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)，interleukin-6 (IL-6) and Creactive protein (CRP)， were compared between the two groups before and after treatment， and the scores of Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS)，the incidence of wound infection，and the effect of wound healing were also compared between the two groups after treatment. Results： After treatment， the levels of TNF- α， IL-6 and CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment， and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the VSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group in color， vascular distribution， thickness and flexibility (P＜0.05). After treatment， the difference of wound healing effect between the two groups was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The effective rate was 95.92% in the observation group and 83.67% in the control group， the difference being significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Jiedu Lianchuang Ointment combined with infrared irradiation can effectively inhibit the inflammatory responses of burned patients， reduce the occurrence of scar， decrease the incidence of secondary infection，and the clinical effect is great.
