Abstract: Objective: To explore the difference between the pulse wave in patients with diabetic kidney disease in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ and that in healthy people by collecting pressure pulse wave,to provide an objective basis for early diagnosis and prediction of diabetic kidney disease. Methods:A total of 98 cases of subjects were collected, including 49 cases of patients with diabetic kidney disease in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ and 49 cases of healthy people. The pressure pulse wave signals of the cun, guan and chi of right hands were obtained by the DS01-C pulse measurement system of Shanghai Daosheng Medical Technology Co., Ltd., the pulse wave data were analyzed, and the reasons were analyzed by the theory of Chinese medicine holism. Results : A total of 98 cases were included , with 49 cases in the control group and 49 cases in the diabetic kidney disease group. There was no significant difference in gender distribution between the two groups (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in age distribution between the two groups (P>0.05). There was significant difference in pulse wave data between the two groups (P<0.05). There was significant difference in pressure pulse wave parameters between the two groups (P<0.05);the amplitude of the main wave h1,the amplitude of the pre-dicrotic wave h2 and the amplitude of the dicrotic notch h3 in the diabetic kidney disease group were significantly higher than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the influences of age and gender on data between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The pulse wave of patients with diabetic kidney disease in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ is different from that of healthy people in the control group. The pulse wave data measured by the pulse measurement system can be used as an objective reference for early diagnosis or prediction of diabetic kidney disease in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ,and can provide objective pulse data for clinical diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine.
